Atwood, Kansas

The Atwood Country Club nine hole golf course is situated by Lake Atwood. It is a golfer's delight with many trees providing cool shade.

This challenging course offers well manicured grass greens, watered fairways and rental carts for those of you who prefer the motorized method of transportation to the always popular walking. Atwood Country Club plays host to several tournaments throughout the summer months and is always very welcoming to guests. In fact, Tee times are not required.

Fees are posted and the public is invited to play at their leisure.

Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church

This wonderful structure was built in 1906 by Bohemian immigrants from Czechoslovakia. Originally located nine miles north and three miles west of Atwood, the church formerly known as Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church was moved to the museum complex in 1994 by the citizens of Atwood.
